From The Stem ("the publication", "we", "us") is published by Mollohan Production Inc., doing business as MPIArtist. By using this website or subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to the terms below.

1. Editorial nature

From The Stem is an independent editorial publication. Articles, essays, and field notes are written by named or staff bylines. We share a parent company with MPIArtist (our artist-development arm); when we cover an MPIArtist project, we disclose it in the article. We do not coordinate editorial coverage with MPIArtist sales, signing, or marketing.

2. Use of the site

You may read, link to, quote briefly from, and share articles for personal or non-commercial editorial use, with attribution to From The Stem. You may not:

Republish full articles without written permission;
Scrape, mirror, or systematically harvest the site;
Use the site, our subscribe endpoint, or our content to send unsolicited commercial messages;
Reverse-engineer or interfere with the site's operation.
